Why is this news? There is only one reason. Publicity. Adam Lambert knows it and his label and backers know it. They are in the market to make money, sell CD's and Adam was perfect for this type of thing--he loves being in the spotlight. Oh, mission accomplished on the publicity, but not enough to surpass Susan Boyle who is a genuinely likable person.
