Multi-platinum-selling artist TOM DELONGE and New York Times best-selling author SUZANNE YOUNG have hit No. 1 on Amazon's Teen & Young Adult Thrillers & Suspense chart with Poet Anderson …Of Nightmares (Simon & Schuster), the first of a planned trilogy of Poet Anderson adventures from the duo.  The book is available at

Poet Anderson...Of Nightmares follows the epic journey of two orphan brothers, Jonas and Alan, who are Lucid Dreamers. After a tragic car accident lands Alan in a coma, Jonas sets out into the Dream World in an attempt to find his brother and wake him up. What he discovers instead is an entire shared consciousness where fear comes to life as a snarling beast called a Night Terror, and a creature named REM is bent on destruction and misery, devouring the souls of the strongest dreamers to get closer to the Waking World. With the help of a Dream Walker—a guardian of the dreamscape, Jonas must face his fears, save his brother, and become who he was always meant to be: Poet Anderson.

Poet Anderson...Of Nightmares  is accompanied by the recently released four-song Angels & Airwaves EP '…Of Nightmares . Billboard premiered "Home," one of the EP's new tracks, along with an animated excerpt from the book. The book and EP continue the story of Poet Anderson, a character Tom introduced last year with the animated short "Poet Anderson: The Dream Walker" (which won "Best Animated Film at the Toronto International Short Film Festival). That film also came with an Angels & Airwaves companion  album, The Dream Walker, which hit No. 1 on iTunes.

As recently reported in the Los Angeles Times, DeLonge has written and directed a live-action Poet Anderson short film featuring "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Posey as Poet. On October 13th, DeLonge will premiere an exclusive scene from the yet-to-be-titled film at the Grammy Museum in downtown Los Angeles. Tickets and information about the event ("A Conversation with Tom DeLonge") can be found at

DeLonge and Young will also be signing books October 10th at Powell's City of Books in Portland (Tom only) and November 7th at Book Passage, Corte Madera in San Francisco.
