Disturbed's new album Immortalized (Reprise) has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, marking the band's fifth consecutive #1 album - a rare distinction only achieved by one other hard rock band in the history of the chart: Metallica - putting them in the company of a select group of global superstars to have earned five chart-topping debuts, including Madonna, Beyoncé, Eminem, Dave Matthews Band and U2. The highly-anticipated album marks the end of a 4-year hiatus for the Grammy-nominated hard rock titans, and features the hit single "The Vengeful One." The song recently took the #1 spot at Mainstream Rock Radio, with Loudwire proclaiming "Expect 'The Vengeful One' to take its place alongside the band's biggest hits."
Disturbed recently announced a 2016 headline tour that kicks off March 11 in Vancouver. The 4-week run will offer a rare chance to see their arena-ready show in an up close and personal setting, such as The Fillmore in San Francisco, Irving Plaza in New York City, Roseland Theater in Portland, and more. Tickets are on sale now, see below for details.
Formed in Chicago in 1996, the multi-platinum Disturbed - David Draiman [vocals], Dan Donegan [guitar], Mike Wengren [drums], and John Moyer [bass] - have sold 12 million albums globally and scored ten No. 1 singles at Active Rock Radio. Their quadruple-platinum 2000 debut The Sickness formally announced their arrival as hard rock leaders, with that status solidified by their subsequent Grammy Award nomination as well as gold-, platinum- and double platinum-certified records.
