It's time to face the facts this holiday season: voicemails are so last Christmas. To remedy the problem, Atlantic Records' a cappella sensation Straight No Chaser partnered with actor Kristen Bell, YouTube comedy-collective and branded content company JASH, and award-winning songwriters AdamSchlesinger andDavid Javerbaum to celebrate the holidays with a fun music video that's sure to become the new-age Christmas classic.
Titled "Text Me Merry Christmas", the song hilariously chronicles the perils of spending the holidays apart in the modern age of emojis, snapchats, tweets, abbrevs, and Facebook messages.
Inspired by beloved Rankin-Bass Holiday specials like Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town, JASH collaborated with their animation partner Toronto based Cuppa Coffee Studios to help create a music video in a similar style.
