MUSIC NEWS: The Reasn Releases "Better" Official Video

LA-based alternative pop artist The Reasn unveiled his official music video for his new single, "Better." The track is the first single off The Reasn's upcoming EP, "25 Till Empty," which will be released in early 2015. "Better" is also now available on iTunes.

With influences ranging from The Beatles and Marvin Gaye to Prince and 2Pac, the track showcases The Reasn's strong vocals and emphasizes his honest and relatable approach to songwriting. The video, which premiered on Buzznet, includes "impressive visuals" and tackles personal and difficult subject matter with an honest and artistic approach. "Everything in my music comes from my own personal life experience and what I've seen from other people. 'Better' deals with the sometimes twisted dynamic of a relationship, where both our insecurities cause us to intentionally hurt each other. I wanted to create a video for this song that is simple, but powerful, with artistic and symbolic visuals that urge the audience to pay attention to the lyrics," explains The Reasn.

The Reasn recently performed at Oakland's The New Parish with Estelle and will be playing two shows with Kat Dahlia in Los Angeles at Los Globos and in Phoenix at Monarch Theatre.
