MUSIC NEWS: "All Christmas Songs are Terrible" - Spotify Gives Grumpy Cat a Playlist

This year, Christmas is not just for the cheery. To help get you into a new holiday spirit, Grumpy Cat is doing the only thing she knows: spreading her Christmas grump. With a moody playlist created exclusively for Spotify, "Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Songs EVER" advises on the songs that get Grumpy to her holiday grumpiest.
The 'meowsical' Spotify playlist includes upbeat eye-rolling tunes such as Funky, Funky Xmas by News Kids on the Block, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree by Miley Cyrus, and Someday At Christmas by Justin Bieber.
The playlist comes as everyone's frowning feline friend released her film debut, Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever, on Lifetime. The live-action movie, with Grumpy Cat voiced by Aubrey Plaza, follows the infamous cat and her sour outlook on the holidays.
The Spotify playlist isn't the only music collection this holiday season. The Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever movie soundtrack which is available now on iTunes features holiday favorites from The Brian Setzer Orchestra, The Bird and the Bee, KT Tunstall, Chris Mann, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and two original songs, "A Very Grumpy Christmas" and "Worst Time of the Year." The physical version of the soundtrack, which includes an exclusive movie poster and Grumpy Cat bumper sticker, is available now on all digital retailers and select brick & mortar stores.
The online 'furnomenon' has reached heady heights in recent years: not 'kitten around' with over 240,000 Twitter followers and nearly 7 million Facebook fans, the world's grumpiest cat is well-placed to advise on the crankiest Christmas songs. Having already met the Vogue team and hosted a WWE Wresting match, the moping moggy is dabbling her paws in the film and music scene – remaining characteristically unhappy about the whole ordeal.
