MUSIC NEWS: Catch SCOTT IAN at Largo in Los Angeles on October 10th

Legendary heavy metal musician, author, and television personality SCOTT IAN recently announced a special one-off west coast "Speaking Words" performance, taking place at renowned Los Angeles nightclub Largo next Friday, October 10th! The event will also serve as Scott's official "I'm the Man: The Story of That Guy from Anthrax" (Da Capo Press, October 2014) book release party and signing! Doors open at 7:00PM, the show begins at 8:00PM, and tickets are just $30. For more information, please visit Largo LA's website, or buy tickets here via TicketFly.

Scott is pleased to perform his first west coast date at the legendary Largo, where many of stand-up comedy's greatest entertainers performed in their early years, and still do today. "This is my first west coast talking show and it's at the mecca for comedy in LA, Largo. I've been going to shows at Largo since the late 90's where I'd see people like Patton Oswalt, Louis CK, David Cross, Bob Odenkirk, Brian Posehn, Sarah Silverman, Zach Galifianakis, and Tenacious D before they were famous. They all still go back there to do shows and I am honored, excited and shitting myself to be doing my show on that stage."

Of course, this performance previews the highly-anticipated upcoming release of Swearing Words in Glasgow, Scott's upcoming "Speaking Words" full performance DVD, filmed during the first leg of his tour in Glasgow, Scotland. Now you can experience Scott's "Speaking Words" Tour at home by picking up a copy, available via Megaforce Records on November 13, 2014.

Swearing Words in Glasgow is an honest look at the insane life that Scott has led for the last 31 years, the people he's met, and the events that coincide. After decades-worth of international touring with Anthrax, bumping elbows with illustrious (and sometimes ridiculous) characters all over the media spectrum, and undergoing general "you won't believe this" experiences— SCOTT IAN certainly had some hilarious and surprisingly personal stories to share.
