MUSIC NEWS: Monica Heldal Streams Album + New US Tour Dates - Debut Out Next Week

Award-winning Norwegian singer/songwriter, Monica Heldal is currently streaming her debut album, 'Boy From The North' in its entirety on The exclusive stream also includes the premiere of "Swan" - a bonus track on the digital version of Heldal's upcoming release out on September 16th via Warner Music Norway / ADA.

The 23-year-old ethereal force to be reckoned with has also been tapped as support on John Butler Trio's upcoming fall run, adding to her previously announced opening slots for The Last Bison and a solo show at Hotel Café in Los Angeles. See below for a full list of shows.

Part Americana, part indie/pop, part folk with hints of bluegrass – Heldal's acclaimed debut album, Boy From The North, which spent 21 weeks on the Top 40 albums chart in Norway, will be arriving in the US on September 16th via ADA/Warner Music Norway. After being featured on Ben Howard's #1 UK hit "Burgh Island" and sharing the stage with him in front of sold-out crowds, Monica became a non-stop touring commodity throughout Europe as support on major tours and festivals, including an opening slot for Tom Petty. This year, Heldal was named "Best New Artist" and "Best Pop Solo Artist" at the Spellemannprisen Awards (also known as the "Norwegian Grammy's").
