"Sometimes, the idea of being a professional musician seems utterly absurd," Gordon says in reference to the new song. "Anyone who pursues that path knows this. There's a certain loss of innocence that comes with the territory, and that's what this song addresses. It's essentially me trying my best to articulate the constant question that nags at my subconscious: What the hell am I supposed to do if this doesn't work out?"
If Gordon's debut full-length record, Forget I Brought It Up, is any kind of sign, he shouldn't have to worry about a plan B any time soon. The Fort Wayne native has been riding a wave of momentum from supporters leading up to the release of the new album and he's only getting started.
Gordon will bring his 90's emo influenced indie-punk to the masses this fall on a full U.S. tour with The Fossil Youth in support of Forget I Brought It Up. Follow him now at for additional updates.
