Gordon explains, ""Indianapolis 2008" is about a spontaneous trip myself and some friends took as teenagers, and how experiences that seem so trivial in the moment can yield such important life lessons in retrospect."
Forget I Brought It Up is full of those life lessons too. The tattoo-covered Fort Wayne, IN native has spent the last several years writing, recording and playing shows across the country, and relaying his experiences and observations to listeners with unyielding honesty. All of which has led to his first full-length record due out in September.
Featuring tracks like "Target" and "Indianapolis 2008," Forget I Brought It Up pays homage to Gordon's influences of bands like Superchunk, The Pixies and Dinosaur Jr., while creating a distinct voice in today's indie rock scene.
