COMEDY NEWS: AXS TV'S 'Tom Green Live' Kicks Off Third Season with Steve Carell

TOM GREEN LIVE is back and bigger than ever, as the hit comedy series returns to AXS TV on June 12 at 9pE for a third season packed with celebrity guests, interactive stunts, and Skype caller interaction. Joining TOM GREEN LIVE in the "Seriously. Funny. Thursdays." comedy block is the all-new original panel series MOCKpocalypse at 8:30pE, from celebrated comedy troupe Dr. God, and the popular stand-up series GOTHAM COMEDY LIVE at 10pE.

"From the fearless irreverence of Tom Green, to the quick wit of MOCKpocalypse, and the latest standup sets from GOTHAM COMEDY LIVE, we're giving viewers a taste of everything that the modern comedy scene has to offer," said Michele M. Dix, AXS TV's senior vice president, programming and development. "This network prides itself on programming that provides uncensored access that viewers can't find anywhere else, and the Thursday night lineup reflects this."   Every Thursday at 9pE, tune in as comedian Tom Green hosts new episodes of the fan-favorite TOM GREEN LIVE. This season, the intimate and in-depth interview show kicks off with funnyman, producer, and ANCHORMAN and THE OFFICE star Steve Carell on June 12, followed by comedian Harland Williams on June 19, and master of illusion Criss Angel on June 26.  

Green will also be joined by comedy guru Dana Carvey and astronaut hero Buzz Aldrin on July 3; stand-up legend Bob Saget on July 10; TV host/comedian Adam Carolla on July 17; and many more throughout the season. Each episode offers an experience that only Green can provide, with spirited discussions that are simultaneously hilarious and fascinating, allowing viewers to see their favorite stars in a different light. Packed with Green's signature humor and unparalleled audience participation, TOM GREEN LIVE is truly unlike anything else on television.   Also on June 12, don't miss the premiere of MOCKpocalypse—from the minds of comedy quintet Dr. God—at 8:30pE. The series boasts a panel of top comedians—including Brody Stevens (BRODY STEVENS: ENJOY IT), Dave Holmes (THE MORNING AFTER), and Stevie Ryan (STEVIE TV)—providing humorous insight to the music industry's hottest topics and trends. And eccentric comedian Bobcat Goldthwait hosts GOTHAM COMEDY LIVE at 10pE, as the favorites of today and icons of tomorrow take the stage at New York's legendary Gotham Comedy Club.
