"As soon as 'Criminal' was chosen as the lead single, I knew that we'd be able to come up with something really different with Mason for a video," said lead singer Kenneth Nixon of the video and the band's relationship with Dixon. "I don't think this is a predictable video for the song and what it's about, and that's what we wanted to do: something different."
The Sum Of Who We Are was released on April 29, following an exclusive album stream on Billboard.com. Nixon refers to the album as "the best work we've done so far." He goes on: "To finally have this baby - and I say 'baby' because that's what it feels like this album became - but to finally have it out to the public, and in our fans' ears, it's an amazing feeling. We know this is a collection of songs that accurately depicts where we are as artists. It's something that we're very proud of, so it feels good to have that out there, finally."
