Iconic singer, songwriter and guitarist JOHN FOGERTY--who kicked off his much-anticipated national concert tour at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE Thursday, October 10 in Los Angeles--was joined last night (Thursday, October 17) by Billy Gibbons of American blues-rock trio ZZ Top in Tulsa, OK, where both were performing sold-out shows at The Joint.  They teamed up on the CCR classic "Born on the Bayou" and ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man."

"The all-too-brief session will stand as one of the tallest highlights that's come down the pike in quite a while. Wow!"  says ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons.  "'Twuz killer diller. John & Co. certainly were on top of the game and the bonus of participation is quite the reward."

On the month-long tour, which concludes with three shows at the Beacon Theatre in NYC (November 12-14), FOGERTY will perform his classic Creedence Clearwater Revival albums Cosmos Factory and Bayou Country for the first time ever in the U.S., along with other FOGERTY gems.  JOHN FOGERTY--one of rock's most important artists and a national treasure who's sold over 100 million albums--has been making music that continues to speak in a powerful way to generations of music makers and music lovers, and his fall tour will be a joyous celebration of his iconic songbook of hits.
