BESS BECKMANN PARTNERS WITH THE JAM SCHOOL FITNESS PROGRAM TO RELEASE PROGRAM ANTHEM, “IT ONLY TAKES A MINUTE.”

Singer and songwriter Bess Beckmann has partnered with The JAM School Program, which raises awareness about physical activity and provides health education to schools, to release a very special single entitled "It Only Takes a Minute" (http://bit.ly/13KymtL).  The song debuted on Power 96.1 FM in Atlanta and will serve as the worldwide anthem leading up to the program's JAM World Day on September 26. Jam World Day encourages everyone to pause and enjoy a one-minute fitness break. The song is available now on iTunes (http://bit.ly/1863ZRS). A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to the program.

"It Only Takes a Minute" coasts from an energetic guitar twang into an arena-size chorus emblematic of the songstress's massive range. It takes less than a minute to fall in love with, as it's an immediately infectious and invigorating anthem. The bi-coastal songstress, splitting time between Los Angeles and Atlanta, teamed up with prominent producer/writer David Schuler [P!nk, John Legend] to pen "It Only Takes a Minute," and now this pop gem is promoting a very special cause.

JAM School Program founder Patti Howell excitedly comments, "I found Bess through a friend 'in the industry' who thought she might be a good fit for our work in schools. I am honored that she chose to be a part of our important message and wanted to write a song about 'just a minute to make a difference.' It's hip, it's catchy, it's now, and it's contagious—just like The JAM School Program."

JAM teaches students and grownups healthier lifestyle habits, absolutely free. Fitting directly with the song, there's a weekly one-minute exercise routine called JAMmin' Minute®, an athlete-featured more extensive routine called JAM Blast®, and a monthly health newsletter called Health-E-tips.

Join JAM World Day on September 26 by purchasing "It Only Takes A Minute" via iTunes and taking literally only a minute fitness break. If everybody participates, it could affect massive change. http://www.jamworldrecord.org
