The Dead Daisies released their eponymous debut this week via Spitfire Music and are currently on the Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival with Alice In Chains, Jane's Addiction, Coheed and Cambria and Circa Survive. The sextet are headlining the COLDCOCK Herbal Whiskey Showcase Stage powered by Ernie Ball with the touring outfit of Jon Stevens (Noiseworks, INXS) on vocals, lead guitarist Richard Fortus (Guns N' Roses, Thin Lizzy), rhythm guitarist David Lowy (Mink), bassist Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent, Whitesnake), drummer Alex Carapetis (Nine Inch Nails, Julian Casablancas) and keyboardist Dizzy Reed (Guns N' Roses).

The radio show, Nights With Alice Cooper is hosting a fly away promotion with The Dead Daisies around the last show of the tour.  One winner and a guest will receive roundtrip airfare, two nights at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, two VIP tickets for the Sun, Sept 15 UPROAR Festisval at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, CA and a meet and greet with The Dead Daisies. The Dead Daisies is "New & Noteworthy" at iTunes rock and veteran music scribe Gary Graff included it as a "New & Notable" release in his syndicated review column. The Aquarian Weekly finds, "incredible musicianship... a great listen" and the album is being played on SiriusXM Octane, Music Choice and active and mainstream rock radio stations across the country.

The first single, "Lock 'N' Load," was co-written by and features Slash and Rolling Stone recently named it their Daily Download. The track was also a "Sixx Pick" on Nikki Sixx's Sixx Sense radio show this week. The video for "Lock 'N' Load (feat. Slash" has been added to Much Music and you can check out alternate "Live" and "Die" endings online at The Dead Daisies YouTube channel and feel free to post.
