"We're all big Mac fans, so we're particularly excited to be performing at the iTunes Festival in London," said the Pixies' Joey Santiago.

Since the surprise premiere of "Bagboy" two weeks ago, the first new Pixies song in nearly a decade, it's been quite a ride for the band and their fans.

Last week, the band announced the first leg of its extensive world tour, and within minutes of tickets going on sale, shows in London, Dublin, Madrid, Amsterdam and Brussels sold out, with second shows added - also sold out - in all of those markets.  Additionally, all tickets were scooped up for Pixies shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Oslo, and the first show in Paris, with a second one now on sale.  Go to for dates and ticketing info.
