Jimmy Eat World Release iTunes Session EP, Available Now

Jimmy Eat World have released an iTunes Sessions EP, featuring eight tracks performed by the band. The session was recorded at Capital Studios in LA earlier this year is available today on the iTunes Store (www.iTunes.com/JimmyEatWorld).

The session highlights Jimmy Eat World's songwriting and performance prowess. These recordings are restyled acoustic arrangements of songs found on their recently released seventh studio album Damage, as well as songs from previous albums Chase This Light, Futures, and Clarity. The set is concluded with a cover of Taylor Swift's hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." New album Damage was released on June 20 via RCA.

Jimmy Eat World performed the title track from Damage live on CONAN yesterday. They also performed their cover of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" as a web exclusive. Watch the performances here:

Damage was produced by Jimmy Eat World and Alain Johannes (Mark Lanegan, Chris Cornell) in Los Angeles last Fall, and mixed by James Brown (Sound City, NIN, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart).

The band will be hitting the road again soon in support of Damage, with a run of dates in the United States from August through October. For the band's full itinerary, please see below.
