The Charm The Fury bring down the hammer on listeners with their newest song, "Colorblind," which features guest vocals from Daniël de Jongh of Textures. The track begins with a torrential onslaught of buzzsaw riffs and monstrous gang vocals that give way to galloping riffage and sing-screamer Caroline Westendorp's snarling vocals and melodic choruses. Westendorp wears passion on her sleeve as she sings about equality for all on the new song, something that means a lot to her personally.
"This song is about equal rights for all people, more specifically, it is about the way in which gay people are being denied their rights," Westendorp tells RevolverMag.com. "In this time more than any other, anyone who feels the same way needs to stand up and speak out, and we considered it our duty to do so with this song. Hopefully, people will hear this message and be encouraged to help this cause."
Unique, edgy, ferocious yet somber, The Netherland's The Charm the Fury formed in 2010 and has brilliantly managed to stand out from the crowd. The band is not only known for its harmonious but chaotic tracks, but also because of Westendorp. Her vocals will turn the head of any female fronted act, as well as, give male fronted bands a severe run for their money.
Hailed as "Holland's best kept secret", The Charm The Fury, are frantically taking the globe by storm with their aggressive take on a modern day metal trend. Already leaving crowds in frenzy across multiple countries while also taking the European festivals by storm!
