Lord Zion, front man and co-founder of UK band SPiT LiKE THiS, is in the process of getting his first movie made.

NORMALITYVILLE HORROR is a dystopian sci-fi thriller centred around a man who is wrongly exiled so he joins a revolution to overthrow a corrupt government.  Although it shares the same title as the current SPiT LiKE THiS album, the two are only connected by a rough theme.  Zion explains:

"I always knew I would one day write movies - I have a very visual outlook on the things I create.  In the past year or so, I have been involved in a couple of films, as myself and acting in one.  This ignited the bug inside to get writing!  I spent six months planning then writing the screenplay, encouraged by the film makers I know who all said they would help me get it made.  The theme of both the SLT album and this film is oppression, expression and a desire to be more - but that is where the link ends.  This is not a SPiT LiKE THiS movie, but an independent film of mine which will be a cross between Escape From New York and A Clockwork Orange."

Beyond the filmmakers already mentioned, Zion has been contacting producers with some success:

"I am most excited as the makers of last year's Iron Sky requested a script.  If they got involved, it would be a dream come true!"
