Pop Pioneer Holly Elle, Releases "Who I Am" Single & Video.

Singer-songwriter Holly Elle knows exactly what she wants and she's yelling it from the rooftops. The pop powerhouse is showcasing her independence with the release of her new sincere single "Who I Am," from her current EP Leopardess, and a new music video to accompany it. Elle has been on a roll since the release of her most honest recording to date. Leopardess dons a vibrant mix of party anthems and heart-felt numbers that keep Elle's fans addicted to her music.

Using the most gentle, yet compelling of tones is something that Elle does effortlessly on the new single "Who I Am." Laid on a mid-tempo, guitar-driven pop beat, Elle's silky smooth and classically trained vocals create a perfect blend of harmonies with an infectious melody and chorus. The songwriter exercises her lyrical skills to write this statement of strength and not settling for less than a woman truly deserves. With catchy, repetitive chants throughout the song and dance steps at the end, one can't help but bounce along. The video for "Who I Am" is just as emotionally strong as the song itself. Shot at numerous Nashville landmarks, the video was produced by Bright Eyes Productions and directed by Charity Vance. "This video is my love letter to Nashville. Since Nashville has become such a big part of 'Who I Am,' and has come to play such a role in my music, I wanted to pay homage."

Originally a native of a small town in Alberta, Canada; Elle grew up engulfed in the popular music of her parents' time such as the Beatles, ABBA and Elton John. As she developed her own relationship with music, her favorite artists consisted of the soulful greats, such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Beyoncé. Coupled with her ongoing trips to the Opera with her father, her musical influences enhanced her love for it while shaping her artistry and the allure of the charming and refined vocals we hear today.

Hardworking and focused, Elle already has a long roll of accomplishments. After being featured on two nationwide Canadian albums and receiving a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance in 2007, she packed her bags and headed for Music City, USA. The ambitious singer became a resident of Nashville to get a head start in her music career. Since moving there, Elle has made huge progress towards her goal of success, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Music Business at Belmont University, performing at several writers' round nights at local venues, auditioning for the FOX hit series, Glee, and releasing her debut EP, Infinitude. The EP's song "Don't Come Home" was featured on the finale of MTV's Real World: San Diego and her songs have also been featured on the Oxygen network reality show Bad Girls Club. In addition, Elle was recently named as one of Music Connection Magazine's Hot 100 Unsigned Artists of 2012. An advocate of the LGBT community, Elle released a video for the single "Freak," which went viral on LGBT websites and blogs. The singer attributes much of her success to her collaboration with Nashville's music production company, Zodlounge over the last few years.
