Former NBC 'The Voice' Contestant Benji And His Band Built To Be Broken Release New Music Video For 'Park Avenue.'

Orlando rock band Built To Be Broken which features Benji Kuriakose from Season 3 of NBC's 'The Voice', has released an official music video for their song "Park Avenue". You may recall Benji's memorable Blind Audition from 'The Voice', where he sang a powerful rendition of Bob Dylan's 'Knockin On Heaven's Door', which turned 2 chairs and ultimately landed him on Team Adam. That single went to #5 on the iTunes charts the following day.

The video, which was directed by Nathan Puhr, was filmed in Winter Garden, FL near their hometown of Orlando and stars the newly married Benji's wife as his love interest. The song was produced by James Wisner (Paramore, A New Found Glory, Dashboard Confessional) and is one of five songs on their current, self-titled EP.

The trio has been winning over fans with their soulful, heartfelt songs infused with pop sensibility and just appeared on the Florida Music Festival's Main Stage on April 20. Playing to a crowd of 2000 plus fans, Benji's organic singer/songwriter roots paired with that incredible scream which made him famous last season, had the crowd wowed. After their main stage set, Kuriakose headed over to the Gibson Showroom, followed by fans, and continued to play a short, intimate acoustic set while playfully chatting with the crowd.

Since Benji's appearance on 'The Voice' in September, Built To Be Broken has been writing and recording new songs and plan to release new material as they hit the road on tour in the Southeast this summer.
