Prince Royce was the top winner of the night alongside Don Omar, at the 2012 Latin Billboard Awards held in Miami, winning in 8 categories: Artist of the Year; Album of the Year ("Prince Royce"); Songwriter of the Year (Geoffrey Royce Rojas); Digital Album of the Year ("Prince Royce"); Tropical Album of the Year ("Prince Royce"); Tropical Song of the Year ("Corazón Sin Cara"); Tropical Albums Artist of the Year, Solo; and Tropical Songs Artist of the Year, Solo.
The young idol also surprised viewers by singing his brand new single "Incondicional", a romantic fusion of bachata and mariachi music, for the very first time on television. "Incondicional" is the second single off the artist's sophomore album "PHASE II".
"PHASE II" is the #1 selling Latin album in the country for the second week in a row. Its first single "Las Cosas Pequenas" reached #1 on the Billboard Latin Songs chart (of Latin music across all genres), #1 on the Pop and # 1 on the Tropical charts.
