Controversial music artist Mary Magdalan is back with a vengeance with her critically acclaimed upcoming release DIGI.N3RV. The album is a genre-bending synthesis of hip hop, dubstep and electronica and is being hailed as her best album to date.
In the latest chapter of her musical trilogy Mary Magdalan is once again obsessed. But this time it’s with another woman. The concept album finds Mary being injected with a DIGI.N3RV, a cybernetic microchip which not only erases her past memory but gives her a whole new identity.
Vivian Blake, her British lesbian alter-ego comes to life through Mary like we have never seen or heard before. "Vivian is a part of me which has always been hidden under the pain and trauma, and letting her out on this new album has been nothing short of orgasmic" said Mary.
A majority of DIGI.N3RV is being produced by hip hop virtuoso Gzus and will feature 13 new songs by Mary including the first single, dubstep smash "STFU v 2.0" produced by BrainPain. The video for "STFU v 2.0" was directed by Mary Magdalan & Jared Baker.
The album is slated for a July 11th release on CD (http://shop.marymagdalan.com/category.sc?categoryId=27). The first 1000 CD's are signed and numbered limited edition collectors copies and are only available exclusively through Mary Magdalan's website.
