"Pendulum's 'Immersion' mixes Prodigy, Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode." – Music Review

Pendulum’s new album “Immersion” continues where the band left off with 2008’s “In Silico.” “Immersion” offers fans an eclectic mix of rock, techno, and various dance beats that front man Rob Swire envisioned when he first started the band.

Originally released in May 2010 in Australia, “Immersion” will drop in the states on January 25th. The timing is perfect for Pendulum, who also goes out on a major tour supporting music giant Linkin Park, not to mention its own headlining tour, around the same time.

The sounds of Prodigy, Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode are nicely combined with Pendulum’s style on “Immersion.” This gives the album a wide range of various musical styles that will win over fans upon first listen.

Although Pendulum isn’t my cup of tea, I can understand why the band has a huge following. What Pendulum does and the way the band does it is what makes Pendulum a top notch group. Even though the band’s last album was two years ago, Pendulum won’t find any trouble regaining its status in today’s musical climate.
