"Axl Rose and Guns n' Roses late to concert. What else is new?"

Tweet Axl Rose tested a crowd in Dublin’s patience when Guns n’ Roses, which primarily is Rose and a bunch of other guys, was an hour late to a gig. This is nothing new to the band, which has a history of pissing people off.

In fact, years ago, when I saw Guns n’ Roses in my hometown, not only was the band late to get on, when the members finally did get on, they sucked ass.

Fans, however, unlike in my area, displayed their disappointment by throwing water bottles on stage. Rose warned the crowd that if anyone threw a bottle on stage again the band would stop playing. And fans did, for a minute. During an introduction that did not include Slash or anyone that matters a bottle came flying toward the stage.

Rose said good night, but the concert promoter disallowed Rose and the band to leave, so after about another hour, Guns n’ Roses came out and finished the show to an almost empty arena. Of course, as crappy as Guns n’ Roses is empty crowds are probably common. What fans should have done was toss up alarm clocks.
