Tweet Why do we care about Jesse James? He cheated on one of America’s sweethearts and now he’s talking about it on ABC News’ “Nightline,” which will air the interview on Tuesday night.

James says, in the interview, “I took a pretty amazing life and marriage ... and threw it away.” Well, duh! But, why do we care?

This was news months ago. Nobody cares about how James is doing. Nobody wants to hear about how he’s getting help in a sex rehab center and nobody cares about James putting up the house he and Bullock shared together for sale.



We can’t get away from him though. And by giving James attention, it only enables him to act this way, because people will forgive him and treat him like a victim because he is pitiful and nearly crying about his choices.

The reality is that the two never should have gotten married to begin with. Of course this was going to happen. And now James is taking this opportunity to soften the things people are saying about him by confessing it all in an interview.

What people should be doing is forgetting about James, and letting him live his pathetic life as a sex addict, and move on to things and people that are worth talking about – like Lindsay Lohan and the train wreck that she is.
