"Christina Hendricks dethrones Megan Fox as best looking woman."

Tweet Christina Hendricks, who stars in TV’s “Mad Men,” was just voted best looking woman from “Esquire.” Last year’s winner, Megan Fox, currently resides in 3rd place, after Hendricks and Victoria’s Secret model, Adriana Lima.

According to a story at Yahoo.com titled, “Christina Hendricks Voted Best-Looking Woman,” Hendricks beat out Lima and Fox with 30% of the votes, with Lima receiving 17% and Fox earning 14%.

OK, I’ve seen all three of these women. I couldn’t sit here and say that if I voted 100 times that Hendricks would get 30 votes, Lima 17 and Fox 14 votes every single time I voted. All three are good looking women. To distinguish exactly who is the best looking woman is a timing issue. If the same poll went out next week, would those votes be the same?

A person would have to Google images of each woman and decide based on pictures. Those random pictures that come up could influence a decision on whether or not a person would vote for Fox and Hendricks.

Take for example my Google search; I put Hendricks and Fox’s name in and whatever batch of pictures came up, I made a decision on looks. From my searches, I decided Fox was better looking in the random batch of pictures.

Not to say that Hendricks isn’t attractive, it’s just the ones that came up made Fox the winner. But I get it. Fox is yesterday’s news while the success of “Mad Men” brought Hendricks to the forefront. Next year it will be determined on what show or movie is hot and trendy. The next the same, and so on and so on.

So to say this poll is fair based on “best looking” is probably inaccurate. It should be changed to “Best Looking Woman Who is Popular Right Now.” If this was the case, then I could understand why Hendricks won.

But to bring up Lima, who is all around good looking and really is only known for being a Victoria’s Secret model, should probably hold this title.
