"The enigma that is Jennifer Love Hewitt."

I saw an article today at CNN.com titled, “Jennifer Love Hewitt nervous about being single again.” As I read the story about Jennifer and co-star Jamie Kennedy’s break-up, I don’t know what I found more shocking. The fact that Jennifer Love Hewitt is single or that she wrote a book. And not just any book, a book about relationships.

According to the article at CNN.com, “Ironically, the split comes just as ‘The Day I Shot Cupid,’ Hewitt's new book offering advice and wisdom on dating and relationship hits bookstores.”

One might think this is a publicity stunt to generate more interest in this book. Because, as I’m writing this article, that is inadvertently what I’m doing – giving her press about her new book.

I’ve followed Jennifer Love Hewitt’s life in the spotlight, whether it be in the crappy movies, “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer,” or the crappy CD’s she put out, like “BareNaked,” and “Let’s Go Bang,” to her not as crappy TV show, “The Ghost Whisperer.”

What I think about her is this: I’m glad that she has essentially lived her entire life in the spotlight and has not gone Gary Coleman on us. She makes a decent living as an actress, she’s beautiful, and from what I’ve read, she has a good head on her shoulders.

But the fact that she can’t keep a boyfriend and she continues to make crappy movies, I don’t feel bad that her love life ultimately ends with her being single. So, my thoughts for Jennifer Love Hewitt are this. “Keep doing what you’re doing. You’re a good actress and you have a great life.”

If you’re really looking for a boyfriend, let us know and we can start a search for the next Love Hewitt beau. Also, good luck with the book. I hope it, too, isn’t crappy.
